Ground and re-energize while you relax! This restorative 20-minute sequence helps open stagnant energy centers throughout the body, allowing you to relax and alleviate discomfort where your body might feel congested. Together we’ll move super slowly, allowing plenty of time to create space for the belly, hips, and body.
Starting in a nourishing reclined position, we’ll use props for support as the body begins to let go. Breathing here, we’ll allow the thigh bones to get heavy and allow the shoulders drop into gravity. We’ll move into gentle side-body stretches to create space through the top of the waist, allowing passive release deep in the pelvis and low-back with long smooth inhales and exhales. Together, we’ll round out class with a supported wide-legged Forward Fold paying close attention to the breath, before moving back into the reclined position we started in – but this time taking legs up the wall for added full-body love!
