Begin by gently tuning into the breath and slowly warming the hamstrings and hips, then move into a gentle standing warm-up consciously activating the legs and releasing tension in the hamstrings and psoas. Use the blocks to support you throughout this practice as you flow through standing, strengthening, hip-opening sequences designed to excavate and release tension in the hips. Come back down to the mat and continue to work on the hamstrings and hips while playing with optional arm balances. Release into forward fold.
