Many of us have experienced discomfort and a rush of emotions during seated, hip opening postures and likely all of us have felt tightness in our hips at one time or another. In this 30-minute seated posture practice we workshop through some common hip openers and learn alignment techniques that will help us to stretch the low back, and practice forward folds and hip openers in a way that supports the breath and prevents injury. David provides tools, progression options and humour to make this class accessible and enjoyable. This is one of those classes you will want to return to again and again, and can be done on it’s own, or after your warm-up, workout, or vinyasa practice.
