Honor your body and move with ease to prepare for birth! This 45-minute class moves gently and focuses on opening the hips, glutes, and groin for a more comfortable pregnancy.
Starting in a tall seated posture, we’ll begin class with conscious awareness of the breath to presence us to the practice. As we deepen the breathing, we’ll aim to make space throughout the entire body, letting go of anything that might be weighing on the mind. As the body softens and the mind becomes more quiet, we’ll connect inward to honor ourselves and the baby before beginning to move the body. Together we’ll flow through gentle seated postures to find some fluidity and then transition into longer held poses like Lizard, Half Pigeon, and Malasana Squat.
This class will offer you a sense of full body release both physically and energetically, leaving you feeling light, connected and renewed!
