Working your deep core muscles in an effective way is super important so that you can stabilize the entire unit that wraps around the abdomen and connects you to your center! This short, precise practice is perfect if you are postpartum and have symptoms of abdominal separation but can also be practiced by anyone looking to build connection and strength in the core! Start by lying down on the back and identifying where you might have had abdominal separation then begin to build that strength back. Slowly begin to activate your core and focus on engaging the muscles to build stability and connection. Knit the belly in, use your hands to identify the anatomy of your core, energize and engage! Move into a powerful side body flow, and finish with a gentle side-lengthening stretch. Use this class regularly to build strength and consciously connect to your core!
