Embody the spirit of Christmas and find peace and joy in the present moment! This Christmas Meditation will help to maintain a joyful hectic-free holiday and remind you of all of the things you have to be grateful for this season.
Starting in a tall comfortable seat, we’ll open the meditation by noticing the energy that is present in the body. Observing the flow of the breath, we’ll embrace any emotions or feelings that surface and begin to open our hearts. We’ll deepen the breath, conciously watching as it travels from the lungs to the pit of the belly and back out again, experiencing the fullness and depth each inhale and exhale brings. As the breath continues to calm the body, we move further from the mind and deeper into the heart’s center. From this safe space, relax, let go, and connect with the childlike joy-filled place present within your heart. Here, at your heart-center, the true spirit of Christmas exists!
