This practice is an introduction to some wonderful pranayama and meditation techniques. Emphasis is on Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), a simple but powerful technique to deeply relax and rejuvenate your mind and body.

Equalizing the flow of breath through both nostrils has many emotional and physical benefits, some including: calming the mind; regulating emotions like sadness and anger; harmonizing the “thinking” and “feeling” sides of the brain; reducing heart rate and blood pressure; and improving sleep.
